• Checked 1881 census return for address shown on MC. Found parents, sister and brother, but no trace of Agnes Mary.
• In attempting to trace Agnes Mary, obtained BC for sister Ada Clare. This gave another address that was checked in 1861 census return, but found no trace of THOMAS family.
• Then obtained BC for brother George Frederick. This gave an address that was checked in 1861 and 1871 census returns, but found no trace of THOMAS family.
• However, these BCs gave the maiden name of Agnes Mary's mother, which helped in tracing her parents' marriage.
• Found Agnes in 1891 census return at 52, Ramsay Road, Leytonstone.
• Found Agnes in 1901 census return at 31, Melrose Road, Leytonstone.
