• Checked 1891 census return for Peabody Buildings address. Found flat, but no trace of COX or FITCH families.
• Found A.G. COX in both 1891 and 1901 census returns at 29, Gladstone Road, Walthamstow.
• These census returns do not support the family belief that he was one of twins. Further checking showed that only three other births occurred in Holborn Jan - Mar. 1889: Benjamin Edward / Emma / Emma, none of whom is known to be a family member. Also, his BC does not show a TIME of birth, which is customary in the case of a multiple birth.
